● Generating Management Reports:
- Access the reports by clicking the menu (9 dots) on the left and searching “Financial.”
- Define your report criteria:
- View: Select the desired report (e.g., Balance Sheet, P&L).
- For the: Choose the date range (monthly, yearly, etc.).
- From: Specify the starting date/month/year.
- To: Specify the ending date/month/year.
- Showing: Select your preferred accounting basis (Accrual or Cash).
- Financials: Choose to compare with the prior year’s corresponding period (if applicable).
- Click “Next” to generate the report based on your selections.
Understanding Report Formatting:
- Report data is grouped based on your Chart of Accounts (GL Accounts) structure.
- Grouping hierarchy: GL Type > GL Subtype 1 > GL Subtype 2
- Rows are sorted by GL name or number.
- Filtering options allow you to refine your view (e.g., exclude zero balance rows, include inactive GLs, apply accounting class filters).
